The cargo area of a car with the floor cleared

Cabins

Child-seat anchors hidden under a flap are a cabin story

The wagon's lower anchors are there. Finding them with the seat cushion in the way took longer than fitting the seat.

This is not a review of a child seat. It is a review of whether the car admits where the anchors are. In the wagon the lower anchors sit in the bite between cushion and backrest, under a flap that looks like trim. The top tether is on the back of the seat, which is honest.

Time the finding

We timed a person who knows the car and a person who does not. The person who knows it was quick. The person who does not spent the time in the gap, pushing the cushion, unsure whether they had the right place. The seat, once the anchors were in hand, went on as designed.

A family cabin that hides the hard parts has saved a smooth look and spent a stressful minute. We will say which of those the car chose. Instructions that say "anchors are provided" without a picture of this car's flap are not instructions.
