This website is a set of pages. You can read them without an account, a newsletter, or a comment box.

We do not run advertising trackers. One cookie remembers the language of the edition you are reading, so the site does not have to look up your country again on the next page. A private note of each visit keeps the time, device, country, page, time on the page, and IP address for 30 days, then it is deleted. We do not ask you to create a profile. If you write to desk@autoaktuell.com, your message is handled as ordinary email by whatever provider the desk uses. We use it to answer you, and to correct a piece if the note warrants it. We do not add you to a marketing list.

The server that hosts the site may keep a standard access log, as hosts do, for security and reliability. We do not use that host log to build a picture of what you read. The 30-day visit note is separate from it, and it is not a profile.
